Ryan Thomas Gosling nació el 12 de noviembre de 1980 en London, Ontario, Canadá.

Ryan Gosling comenzó su carrera en televisión, con entretenimiento familiar y programas para niños como Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1995) hasta que consiguió su primer papel importante en The believer (2001). Luego co-protagonizó junto con Sandra Bullock la peli Asesinato 1 2 3 en 2002 y otras películas como The Slaughter Rule (2002), The United States of Leland (2003) y Stay (2005).

Luego dio un salto en la calidad de las películas con Half Nelson (2006) y Lars and the Real Girl (2007).

Pero la popularidad le llegó con las tres películas de Crazy, Stupid, Love y con otras más independientes tipo Drive (2011), con un papel muy alejado de sus inicios para el público infantil.

Ha sido dos veces nominado al Oscar a Mejor Actor, por Half Nelson y opor La La Land (2016).

Y, por si no lo saben, Ryan Gosling también es músico y tiene una banda llamada Dead Man’s Bones.

En el 2023 está previsto el estreno de Barbie, protagonizada por Margot Robbie. Hace de Ken, sí.

Ryan Gosling (full name Ryan Thomas Gosling), was born in London, Ontario, Canada, on November 12^th 1980.

He initially played parts in TV shows like Disney Channel’s The Mouse Club, followed by a role in the family entertainment show Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1995).

The much acclaimed movie The Believer (2001) was Gosling’s first feature film in which he was the lead character. He went on to co-star together with Sandra Bullock in the movie Murder by Numbers (2002) and independent movie productions such as, Slaughter Rule (2002); The United States of Leland (2003).

Among the numerous movies he has starred in, it was his role in Half Nelson (2006) that got him nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.

He co-starred in movies such as the romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011), which gained him further popularity, and starred in the box office success Drive (2011). In 2015 he played the main part in the acclaimed movie satire The Big Short (2015).

Gosling surprised with his starring role in the romantic musical La La Land (2016), for which, he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, and earned him once again a nomination to an Academy Award for Best Actor.

He has since continued with lead roles in a number of movies, such as, Blade Runner 2049 (2017), and the biopic First Man (2018) where he played the part as Neil Armstrong. Furthermore, he is involved in musical ventures with his band Dead Man’s Bones, and is very active promoting humanitarian causes.

It is expected that the movie Barbie will be released in 2023, where he co-stars with Margot Robbie.
