Three Thousand Years of Longing will offer us a slightly different take on the fantasy genre.

Premise

A woman who leads a comfortable life as a scholar travels to Istanbul where she will summon a Djinn. They strike a bargain, he grants her three wishes, and she will in return grant him his freedom.

They also strike up a conversation, which will take them elsewhere than expected….
