Mel Gibson se dio a conocer en Mad Max (y sus secuelas) y se convirtió en un guapo maravilloso y adorado por ellos y ellas en Arma Letal (y sus secuelas). Ganó un Oscar a Mejor Director por su épica Braveheart.

Mel Gibson nació el 3 de enero de 1956 en Peekskill, Nueva York, Estados Unidos

Tras sus primeros éxitos, y no siendo ya tan jovencito y se dedicó al noble arte de la dirección, entre las que nos regaló varias obras a tener muy en cuenta La Pasión de Cristo (2004), Apocalypto o Hasta el Último Hombre.

Y combinando dirección y actuación, tiene Braveheart, tal vez su mejor película, que ganó 5 Oscars, entre ellos Mejor Dirección y Mejor Película. ¡Casi nada!

Últimamente, y tras algunas polémicas y demás, anda actuando ebn divertidas películas de las cuales vamos a destacar una que hizo el año pasado, con un Santa muy especial, otra de nuestras favoritas en Navidad: Matar a Santa (Fatman).

Recienemente le hemos visto en El Milagro del Padre Stu (2022).

Y un thriller político fallido pero con una historia interesante: Misión Panamá (2022) y en otra sobre hackers llamada Hot Seat (2022), a ésta no la salva ni la historia.

About Mel Gibson

Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson was born on January 3 1956 in Peekskill, New York, United States.

He rose to fame n the first three films of the post-apocalyptic action series Mad Max. He also starred in Lethal Weapon trilogy and he has directed various films like Braveheart. He won the Academy Award for Best Director for this film.

He starred in Fatman (2020), a very funny version of a very modern Santa.

Nowadays, we have watched him in the film Father Stu (2022), starring Mark Wahlberg. And a movie titled Panama (2022), a political thriller about Operation Just Cause). He co-stars in Hot Seat (2022), alongside Kevin Dillon.
