‘The Flash‘ es una película de superhéroes estadounidense de 2023 basada en el personaje del mismo nombre de DC Comics. Producida por DC Films, The Flashpoint, Berlanti Productions y Kroll & Co. Entertainment, y distribuida por Warner Bros. Pictures, es la décima película del Universo extendido de DC (DCEU). Crítica de la película

¿Qué esperan de una peli de personajes de DC? Espectáculo, entretenimiento, algunas bromas, agilidad, muchos superhéroes y, sobre todo, un sinfín de efectos especiales y un espectáculo último modelo lleno de acción y situaciones límite. ‘The Flash’ lo da con creces o ofrece al público exactamente lo que espera e, incluso, superando las expectativas.

Y para los que esperan “cine de autor”, la elección de película era incorrecta.

‘The Flash’ maneja mil personajes, tiene infinidad de chistes y le da a los nostálgicos el gran toque: la vuelta de Michael Keaton como Batman (y a Nicolas Cage, que nunca pasa de moda); maneja personajes con facilidad y ofrece un argumento con viajes en el tiempo que, además de acompañar perfectamente la historia, da un magnífico juego para la acción.

Pero es cierto, si odias a los superhéroes con toda tu alma y llevas una camiseta del neorrealismo, esta película no te va a convencer.

Y si nos ponemos en plan “físicos cuánticos” … igual tampoco.

Pero es una película muy bien hecha que es todo un espectáculo, es innegable, en un guion muy bien construido para sus intenciones, incluso inteligente. Tiene las dosis justas de todo: nostalgia, acción, chistes, espectáculo y, claro está, una producción excelsa que puede que de envidia a más de un director que diría: lo que yo podría hacer con todos esos millones.

‘The Flash’ nace con la clara intención de agradar a una audiencia determinada y, estamos seguros, lo va a conseguir. ¿La mejor película de la historia del cine? Es probable que no, y tampoco viene a revolucionar el cine de superhéroes, pero sí nos da otro espectáculo más (sí, de lo mismo) en el Universo DC que, reconozcámoslo, es espectacular.

Sinopsis

The Flash sigue a Barry Allen, un investigador forense que se convierte en un superhéroe con supervelocidad. Barry usa sus poderes para luchar contra el crimen y proteger a los inocentes. Un día, Barry decide viajar en el tiempo para salvar a su madre, que fue asesinada cuando él era un niño. Sin embargo, sus acciones tienen consecuencias devastadoras que alteran el universo.

Barry se encuentra en un nuevo universo donde Batman es Michael Keaton y Superman está muerto. Barry debe encontrar una manera de restaurar el universo a su estado original, pero también debe enfrentarse a las consecuencias de sus acciones.

Movie Review

What do you expect from a DC character movie? Spectacle, entertainment, some jokes, agility, many superheroes, and above all, a plethora of special effects and a state-of-the-art action-packed show. ‘The Flash’ delivers all of that and more, exceeding audience expectations.

However, if you are looking for an «auteur cinema» experience, this movie may not be for you.

‘The Flash’ handles numerous characters, incorporates countless jokes, and provides a nostalgic touch by bringing back Michael Keaton as Batman (and Nicolas Cage, who never goes out of style). It handles the characters with ease and offers a time-traveling storyline that not only complements the narrative perfectly but also adds an excellent element to the action.

But it’s true, if you despise superheroes with all your heart and wear a neorealist t-shirt, this film won’t convince you.

And if we take a «quantum physics» approach. . maybe not either.
However, it is an exceptionally well-crafted film that offers a captivating spectacle. The screenplay is skillfully constructed to fulfill its intentions, even displaying intelligence. It strikes the perfect balance of nostalgia, action, humor, spectacle, and, of course, outstanding production that may leave some directors envious, thinking about what they could have achieved with all those millions.

‘The Flash’ is clearly intended to please a specific audience, and we are confident it will succeed. Is it the best film in the history of cinema? Probably not. Does it revolutionize the superhero genre? Not really. However, it does provide another (yes, similar) spectacle within the DC Universe, which, let’s admit it, is spectacular.

Synopsis

‘The Flash’ follows Barry Allen, a forensic investigator who becomes a superhero with super-speed. Barry uses his powers to fight crime and protect the innocent. One day, Barry decides to travel back in time to save his mother, who was murdered when he was a child. However, his actions have devastating consequences that alter the universe.

Barry finds himself in a new universe where Batman is portrayed by Michael Keaton, and Superman is dead. Barry must find a way to restore the universe to its original state while also facing the consequences of his actions.

Critique de film

Que peut-on attendre d’un film mettant en scène des personnages de DC ? Du spectacle, du divertissement, quelques blagues, de l’action, de nombreux super-héros et surtout, une pléthore d’effets spéciaux et un spectacle dernier cri rempli d’action et de situations extrêmes. ‘The Flash’ offre tout cela au public, et même plus, dépassant les attentes.

Et pour ceux qui attendent du «cinéma d’auteur», le choix du film était erroné.
‘The Flash’ gère une multitude de personnages, regorge de blagues et offre une touche nostalgique avec le retour de Michael Keaton en Batman (et de Nicolas Cage, qui ne se démode jamais). Il manipule les personnages avec aisance et propose un scénario avec des voyages dans le temps qui, en plus de bien accompagner l’histoire, offre une excellente occasion pour l’action.

Mais il est vrai que si vous détestez les super-héros de tout votre être et que vous portez un t-shirt de néoréalisme, ce film ne vous convaincra pas.

Et si nous adoptons une approche «physique quantique». . peut-être pas non plus.
Cependant, c’est un film très bien réalisé qui est un véritable spectacle, c’est indéniable, avec un scénario très bien construit pour ses intentions, voire intelligent. Il a les bonnes doses de tout : nostalgie, action, blagues, spectacle et bien sûr, une production excellente qui pourrait susciter l’envie chez plus d’un réalisateur qui dirait : «Ce que je pourrais faire avec tous ces millions».

‘The Flash’ est clairement destiné à plaire à un public spécifique, et nous sommes sûrs qu’il y parviendra. Est-ce le meilleur film de l’histoire du cinéma ? Probablement pas, et il ne révolutionne pas non plus le cinéma de super-héros, mais il nous offre un autre spectacle (oui, du même genre) dans l’univers DC qui, reconnaissons-le, est spectaculaire.

Was erwartet man von einem DC-Film? Spektakel, Unterhaltung, einige Witze, Action, viele Superhelden und vor allem eine Fülle von Spezialeffekten und eine hochmoderne Show voller Action und Extremsituationen. ‘The Flash’ erfüllt diese Erwartungen mehr als zufriedenstellend und übertrifft sie sogar.

Für diejenigen, die «Autorenkino» erwarten, war die Filmauswahl falsch.
‘The Flash’ handhabt unzählige Charaktere, enthält unzählige Witze und bietet den Nostalgikern den großen Höhepunkt: die Rückkehr von Michael Keaton als Batman (und auch Nicolas Cage, der nie aus der Mode kommt). Der Film handhabt die Charaktere mühelos und bietet eine Handlung mit Zeitreisen, die nicht nur perfekt zur Geschichte passt, sondern auch großartiges Potenzial für die Action bietet.

Aber es ist wahr, wenn du Superhelden aus tiefstem Herzen hasst und ein Neorealismus-T-Shirt trägst, wird dich dieser Film nicht überzeugen.

Und wenn wir uns «quantenphysikalisch» nähern. . wahrscheinlich auch nicht.
Aber es ist ein sehr gut gemachter Film, der zweifellos ein Spektakel ist, mit einem sehr gut konstruierten Drehbuch für seine Absichten, sogar intelligent. Er hat die richtige Menge an allem: Nostalgie, Action, Witze, Spektakel und natürlich eine herausragende Produktion, die so manchem Regisseur Neid verursachen könnte und der sagen würde: Was ich mit all diesen Millionen machen könnte!

‘The Flash’ wurde mit der klaren Absicht gemacht, ein bestimmtes Publikum zufriedenzustellen, und wir sind sicher, dass es das schaffen wird. Ist es der beste Film in der Geschichte des Kinos? Recensione del film

Cosa ci si aspetta da un film sui personaggi della DC? Spettacolo, intrattenimento, qualche battuta, agilità, molti supereroi e, soprattutto, un’infinità di effetti speciali e un’azione mozzafiato. ‘The Flash’ soddisfa tutte queste aspettative e addirittura le supera, offrendo al pubblico esattamente ciò che si attende.

Per coloro che invece cercano un «cinema d’autore», hanno scelto il film sbagliato.
‘The Flash’ gestisce un numero incredibile di personaggi, offre una miriade di battute e regala agli appassionati del passato un tocco speciale: il ritorno di Michael Keaton nei panni di Batman (e di Nicolas Cage, che non passa mai di moda); gestisce i personaggi con facilità e presenta una trama che coinvolge viaggi nel tempo, che oltre ad accompagnare perfettamente la storia, offre un gioco magnifico per l’azione.

Ma è vero, se odi i supereroi con tutto il tuo cuore e indossi una maglietta del neorealismo, questo film non ti convincerà.

E se ci mettiamo a ragionare da «fisici quantistici». . nemmeno quello.
Ma è un film molto ben realizzato, uno spettacolo innegabile, con una sceneggiatura costruita in modo eccellente per i suoi intenti, persino intelligente. Ha le giuste dosi di tutto: nostalgia, azione, battute, spettacolo e, ovviamente, una produzione eccelsa che potrebbe far invidia a molti registi che direbbero: cosa potrei fare io con tutti quei milioni.

‘The Flash’ nasce con l’intento chiaro di piacere a un pubblico specifico e, siamo certi, ci riuscirà. Il miglior film nella storia del cinema? Probabilmente no, e non è nemmeno qui per rivoluzionare il cinema dei supereroi, ma ci regala un altro spettacolo (sì, della stessa tematica) nell’Universo DC che, ammettiamolo, è spettacolare.
